My Pick:

My current camera is the Sony Alpha 3000, which I purchased at the National Camera Exchange. I would highly recommend it! Great for beginners, the camera's basic features and help tutorials (which you can see at the click of a button) make it easy for even the least tech savvy. Once you get the hang of using the different settings, you can take some really great pics without breaking the bank.

Minimalist Spring Cleaning Challenge - Day 5 - School/Office Supplies

I dream about the day that I look at everything I own and know that I only have what I need. Nothing to get rid of, hardly anything to pick up. That day is gonna be pretty great - amazing really. I know it sounds strange, but the more I get rid of, the happier I feel.

Today I was really surprised, because I didn't have as many extra school supplies laying around as I thought. I did make a post on school supplies a while back. In the post it shows only what I use, but I still have had lots of school supplies which I have bought after the post, and I already had some stashed away that were not being used. They were just getting in the way and taking up space, so why not get rid of them.

Writing Utensils:

My room has gotten more filled with stuff recently, and as you can see, there are lots of pens and pencils crammed in my holder.

Get rid of anything that:

-doesn't work

-doesn't have an eraser

-you don't like

-doesn't get used

You really only need about 2 pencils, 2 black pens, a red pen, a dry erase marker, a Sharpie, and maybe a few colored pens/pencils/sharpies. The point is, you don't need fifty pencils, it just doesn't make sense to have that many.

See how much better that looks?!

Notebooks/planners/journals:

I HOARD these things! I recently got rid of 5 different journals that were half full and I really wish I would have waited so I could include those in the post, but whatever. Hold on, let me slap myself real quick. I must be going crazy. I should never regret organizing sooner rather than later!

If you feel bad about getting rid of notebooks that aren't completely used, just tear out all of the extra papers and keep them as loose leaf paper. Even put it somewhere in the house where everyone can use it. I've done that and the extra paper has literally gotten used within only a few days.

Folders/Binders:

A few months ago I got rid of a bunch of binders (probably 8-10 of them) that were not being used or broken. I also got rid of several folders. Too bad I didn't take pictures!

If it's-

-broken

-not used

Just get rid of it!

Here is what I got rid of (kind of disappointing to be honest, compared to my other posts):

Lots of Love,

Kat
