My current camera is the Sony Alpha 3000, which I purchased at the National Camera Exchange. I would highly recommend it! Great for beginners, the camera's basic features and help tutorials (which you can see at the click of a button) make it easy for even the least tech savvy. Once you get the hang of using the different settings, you can take some really great pics without breaking the bank.

Happy New Year!

Isn't snow simply magnificent?

With it's powdery, cotton texture and gentle touch,

As it whirls through the breeze and dances through the air,

It stirs feelings of freedom and fantasy,

And awakens something dangerously adventurous in our souls,

Is there anything quite like the morning frost that kisses your window?

No greater feeling in the world have I found,

Than the feeling of awakening at daybreak,

And finding as far as the eye can see,

Beautifully thick pillows of snow,

No greater feeling in the world have I found,

Than the feeling of stepping out into the golden sunlight,

To watch perfectly plump snowflakes flutter all around,

No greater feeling in the world have I found,

Than looking up into the trees,

And watching the delicate icicles on the branches sparkle in the sun,

But alas,

The icicles that sparke will melt,

And so will the snow,

And the frost,

And everything that I felt,

I know what will happen,

But just for today,

I will watch the snow dance,

I will feel the wind whirl,

I will hear the sound of silence,

And forget that it will soon melt away.
