The Autumn Column: Happy Thanksgiving!
Hello friends!
Turkey Day is upon us. Time to sit around the table with family, friends, and an agglomeration of delectable foods.
Thanksgiving is not just a day to gorge ourselves on pultry and potatoes, but a day to give thanks.
I am thankful for lots of things. My home, my family, my church, and my God.
But these things are not the only reason to celebrate today.
I'm talkin' SNOW!
Now, don't get all riled up. I know that many of us dislike the snow and want to put off the cold winter for as long as possible.
I am sorry to SNOW on your parade, but I for one LOVE it!
You know who else loves it? Mady.
What was I awoken to this morning? The sound of Mady scampering around the house like a wildwoman shouting "IT'S SNOWING! KATELYN GET UP IT'S SNOWING!"
Now, for a second I was annoyed with the rude awakening, but the next second I jumped out of bed, realizing that this was a very important day.
Thanksgiving yes, but also the first day of SNOW!
So, I could not help myself. I had to take pictures to document this fluffy, white, beautiful day.
